Dr. Malachy Dottin has amassed extensive experience in the agricultural sector as the former Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative in Colombia, former director of R&D at the Ministry of Agriculture Grenada, former National Coordinator for the National Zero Hunger Challenge Initiative in Grenada and also an agribusiness entrepreneur having founded his own agriculture company AgriTech Ltd Grenada. He has worked as an agricultural consultant for the Technical Center for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) in Congo, Uganda, Kenya and the Caribbean. He has recently been appointed Caribbean and Latin America representative on the International Biosafety Compliance Committee. He has been a farmer for the last thirty years.
